this is the second circular for the EMMI workshop
Quarks, Hadrons, and the Phase Diagram of QCD
which will take place from the 31st of August- 3rd of September, 2009 in St. Goar, Germany.

Wipf (Jena).
We have been granted funding from the 'ExtreMe Matter Institute' to cover part of the local costs (conference fee including meals). The remaining conference fee for participants registering before 15th of May is 100 Euro, and includes lunch and dinner. Participants registering after the 15th of May are required to pay the full conference fee of 276 Euro.
In addition we are able to contribute towards travel costs and local sustenance (including the conference fee) for a limited number of younger participants and participants with a low travel budget. Please indicate in the comments section of the registration form, whether you are in need of support, and to which extent.
Accommodation will be available on the conference site (Schlosshotel Rheinfels, St. Goar) and amounts to 99 Euro per night for a single room and 67.50 Euro per person per night in a shared double room, including breakfeast. We have reserved a sufficient number of rooms from 31st of August to 3rd of September. Although we expect every participant to cover accommodation on his/her own, in exceptional cases we may negotiate about a (partial) refunding. Hotel booking is organized by us. Just use the registration form to indicate your interests.
Note that the number of rooms is limited, as is the capacity of the conference hall, to about 50 participants.
Registration will be open from now on, closing on the 15th of May. After this date, registration is still possible, but the higher conference fee has to be paid, and no financial support will be available. Also, no precedence will be given over earlier registration, if the capacity is already filled.

Since the overall number of participants is strictly limited we may have to make a selection. We plan to include the final list of participants on the conference website no later than the 31st of May. The website is located at http://crunch.ikp.physik.tu-darmstadt.de/qhpd.
Everyone registered will receive a note-of-reception e-mail within one week after receiving the registration e-mail, and a final confirmation until the 31st of May indicating the amount of financial support available, whether s/he had to be queued, and whether an oral presentation is possible. Poster contributions are automatically accepted.
