Dear Colleague,

we write to announce the workshop

Quarks, Hadrons, and the Phase Diagram of QCD

in St. Goar, Germany, that we propose to hold over 4 days

31st of August 2009 - 3rd of September 2009

The meeting will canvass a range of topics

  • - Mapping the phase diagram of QCD
  • - Quark and gluon confinement at non-zero temperature and density
  • - Chiral symmetry breaking and restoration
  • - Approaches to the phase diagram of QCD: Lattice, continuum, and models
  • - Matter out of equilibrium
  • - Heavy ion collisions

  • We plan approximately 15-20 invited key presentations with a total number of about 40-50 participants.
