Persons wishing to attend the course should apply online.
General closing date for registration: July 15, 2011.
Lectures and seminars will be held in the morning and late afternoon so as to leave plenty of time for free discussion, which is an important part of the Erice system. The early afternoons are reserved for private activities, special seminars, working groups, workshops, etc.
On one afternoon the possibility is offered to visit the beach, and there is a one-day excursion.
Stand-alone capabilities for projecting powerpoint or pdf talks are available at the lecture hall. The presentations should preferentially be uploaded via memory stick. It is also possible to use personal laptops.
The fee of 800 EURO covers the local costs in Erice including full board and lodging. Lunch and dinner will be provided at local restaurants. Drinks, beverages, and after-dinner coffee at the restaurants, telephone calls, personal laundry, etc. are not covered by the fee. Please note that each accompanying person has to pay the fee as well.
Further information on details of the payment will be provided in due course.
There is a limited number of fellowships, which cover part of the expenses.
Deadline: February 10, 2011.
Participants will be accommodated in rooms with one or two beds, the majority with shower or bath. Rooms are allocated in the office at San Rocco upon your arrival to Erice. Do not make reservations directly at hotels in Erice.
